I've ramped the bittering hops and DME up a bit from the recipe
The 2nd Target drop was 15 minutes after the boil commenced
T bath set to about 70°, which isn't far off the basement T (about 67° during principal fermentation)
dry hopping: this time I just dropped the hops into the carboy before the rack (i'll see if it cleans up easier -- smelled good :)
mixed results w/the dry hopping w/out bagging, the carboy was easier to clean but i lost a few beers (got 48) because of the sturm and drang which led me to abort the rack into the bottling bucket a bit earlier than usual, some of the beers may be a bit "green" because of leftover hops in the bottling bucket. however i had about 3/4 beer worth of leftovers after bottling, now this certainly had the highest concentration of leftover hops of all the bottles-- had a bit of a sharp zing to it, but it was fairly smooth and definitely drinkable, so this beer should turn out OK at worst, after it carbs i'll be in a better position to decide which dry hopping process is best for my goals (maximize the good beers!)
2 weeks after bottling: carbed and uhm uhm good! i think this is my IPA (medium bitterness, less than dogfish head 60 min for example, more than the blind faith i made last time)

The recipes described indicate the ingredients I used to brew the beer. These may or may not match with the ingredients found in the cited references. For the authoritative clone recipe and complete descriptions of how to make any of these beers using either extract, mash or mini-mash methods consult the cited text. I heartily recommend the "clone" books referenced, any of them is well worth the small investment and will pay off in great beer.
